Ex-artistI'm new to the furry fandom. What's some advice from someone like you?
I've been in the fandom for almost 10 years or 4 years as an "open" furry. To be honest, the best thing you can be is to be authentic, be genuine and be yourself. Say hi and be nice. Never be someone who you are not, we all make stupid mistakes and waste a crap ton of money on this hobby but never be someone who chases clout, chase popularity, be a compulsive lair or regularly brag about fame or money. Just be you.

People like you because of you; you'll get popular because people like you. You don't need to change your behaviour, opinion or take risks just to be popular and get "internet points" on social media. Don't bother wasting your time on people who don't appreciate your company or exploit you or your trust. There's no obligation to provide anything extra to "time wasters", nothing wrong with moving on and finding new friends. Don't feel guilty about it. You want to hang out with people who care about you. Keep your friends close and they will have your support and back.

Friendships are about time, communication, empathy and trust. Start local then look around, there's plenty of people to meet. Don't judge a person like a cover of a book though! You don't need a fursuit to be "popular". You don't need a fursuit to be in the fandom whatsoever! Most of all have fun and practice common sense! And at the end of the day, respect people's boundaries and comfort zone-it's never wrong to ask and apologise if you breach those boundaries.How do I meet people, I'm shy and introverted?
Get out of your comfort zone. Remove your nerves and breathe! But I know even that's hard-especially for introverts. All you need is to say hi and start with your hobbies, there's tons of ways to start a conversation "where are you from" is another one or to a fursuiter "nice/cute fursuit can I get a picture" then introduce yourself. Fursuiting may help you get more comfortable with strangers. But I'm not saying you need one.Sometimes you get those that straight up ignore you or leave you on read, no offense taken-just move on, there's plenty of fish in the water. Just don't spend your valuable time on them.

As he is my main fursona he inherits most if not everything about myself (aka Wen), he doesn't have one. See about me I guess.Owner's notes:
Although a simple character, keep in mind the patterns/markings on his shoulders and thighs.
Teal is neither green nor blue.
Clothes don't need to follow the ref sheet. For instance, the design of Flux's hoodie can be the artist's choice (but should fit with the overall piece). Pants can be swapped out for jeans etc.

Was created to be the opposite and a companion to Flux.Backstory:
Blaze is a vigilante. He could be working as an undercover government agent for someone. He gets into dangerous tasks surrounded by secrecy as he was trained in stealth and combat at a young age.Someone has put a price on Blaze, and the cops are chasing him for a crime he had been framed for. Blaze then hunted and chased the person who framed him and eliminated them. After sending a message, Blaze then makes even more enemies. He continued to search and hunt for the people who wanted him dead. He also has other ulterior motives.One day, Blaze met Flux as he was walking by when Blaze was injured after an attack at his hideout-an abandoned warehouse. Flux gave Blaze some friendly gestures, warmth and helped him with some medical assistance. Blaze had never met someone as nice or friendly towards him. Then eventually they met again and Blaze gave his number to Flux.This eventually turned into a relationship when Blaze confessed to him. Flux didn't know what to say but he likes him to. After them both getting chased by the cops again and putting them both in danger, Blaze told his secret. Flux didn't know what to do which may have let to him being annoyed and angry that he was lied to.At the end, it seems they both needed each other not only for safety but companionship and company. They needed each other more than ever.Owners notes:
Although not mentioned on the ref sheet, Blaze's accessories (piercings, bracelets and collars etc) are optional apart from some cases. I recommend including them however.
Blaze can be difficult to draw and colourise so please double-check the ref sheet constantly to get it accurate.
Blaze's clothes do not need to be the same as the ref sheet.(footwear/shoes are optional).
Blaze is a companion to Flux so having Flux be with Blaze is optional and not a strict requirement.
